Need to get your groove on? The delightful jazz enthusiasts behind Rhythmically Speaking—Erinn Liebhard and Heather P. Westerlund—have assembled yet another jazz-dance concert showcasing the best of the Twin Cities. Titled "Groovers & Makers," this year's sampler of performances from dance innovators includes well-loved educator/tapper Karla Grotting and the dynamic Jeffrey Peterson, along with up-and-comers Emily Broeker, Jennifer Glaws, Jolene Konkel, Cathy Wind, and Carrie Lande. They'll dip into classic jazz, Latin, funk, and even rhythm-infused modern dance—as well as tap, of course. There's no better way to experience jazz's ongoing influence in our dance community.
