For the next four days downtown St. Paul will welcome the best gymnasts in the country as they compete for a coveted spot on the national team headed to the World Championships. Competitors for women's artistic gymnastics include Shawn Johnson, who won four medals in the last Olympics (including gold for beam and silver for all-around), and Alicia Sacramone, who is tied with elite Olympic gymnasts Shannon Miller and Nastia Liukin for the most World medals won. Top competitors for men include Jonathan Horton and Timothy McNeill, and rhythmic gymnasts will compete at the Roy Auditorium.
