Sure, it's nice to go to the movies in order to take advantage of the air conditioning. But outdoor film screenings are a novelty in that they usually involve sitting on a lawn and enjoying beer, ice cream, or other snacks while you watch. This, despite the heat, is half the fun. This Monday, Brit's Pub launches its summertime rooftop movie series. Films scheduled have a United Kingdom flair, of course. The first flick is 1981's Arthur, and the unabashedly drunken antics of Dudley Moore's character should serve as a nice palate-cleanser for those who saw the awful 2011 version. Films in the weekly series include Scoop (August 8), Paul (August 15), the Oscar-winning The King's Speech (August 22), Robin Hood (August 29), and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 (September 5).
