While while Minneapolis is one of the most bike-friendly cities in the U.S., not everyone may be familiar with the Midtown Greenway. The bike- and pedestrian-only trail runs parallel along Lake Street from Uptown to the Mississippi. This Saturday, those who are curious to learn more about the path can meet up at the Freewheel Bike Center for either a one- or two-hour guided tour of the Greenway. Don't worry if you do not have a bicycle, Nice Ride MN will be loaning out bikes and helmets for free for those 10 and up. During the event guests will also be able to bring their rides in for free bike check-ups, and enter to win prizes. Show up early; tour space is limited. (Photo by Mulad)
