Harry Potter Marathon

Already have the Harry Potter blues because the series is almost over? Live it up while you can. With Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 comes the end of the movie franchise. True Potter fans have already pocketed their tickets for the July 15 midnight showing. But before that bittersweet last film, the Riverview Theater is hosting a Harry Potter Marathon, where there will be themed concessions, a costume contest, and door prizes. The coolest part, however, could be the energy from other crazy fans. Saturday's lineup consists of The Sorcerer's Stone, Chamber of Secrets, and Prisoner of Azkaban; Sunday's is Goblet of Fire, Order of the Phoenix, Half-Blood Prince, and Deathly Hallows: Part 1. Films begin at 10:30 a.m. both days. Two-day passes are on sale currently for $25. It's possible that the Riverview may offer tickets to single shows, but only if seats don't sell out with the two-day marathoners. Visit riverviewtheater.com for more info.
July 9-10, 10:30 a.m.-7 p.m., 2011
