This weekend, folks with strong arms and good rhythm will be racing in teams across Lake Phalen for the annual Dragon Boat Festival. These feats of skill, teamwork, and endurance will take place over the course of two days, while the rest of us celebrate Asian arts and sports on land nearby. In addition to the races, folks will be able to enjoy cultural performances ranging from theater to music to dance to martial arts, snack on treats from local restaurants like Hoa Bien and Pham's Deli, shop at vendors' booths, and chat with local businesses, organizations, and political groups.
