It's summer, which means it's time to get off your duff and move your body around. The Ordway Center for the Performing Arts is making that easy with outdoor evening dance parties Thursdays at Landmark Plaza all season. This week you can get your Latin on with Salsa del Soul. Country dancing (from two-stepping to "Achy Breaky" line dancing) with Kevin Anthony and the Twin City Playboys follows the next week. Then glam up for ballroom with Jerry O'Hagan and his Orchestra (July 14), grab Grandma for polka night with Craig Ebel & DyVersaCo (July 21), step up with Irish dancing to music by the Belfast Cowboys (July 28), and get your groove on with Power's classic R&B/soul (August 4). Dance instruction by Twin Cities notables begin every evening, so there are no excuses.
