"Tropical" and "goth" aren't words that are strung together too often, but Tropical Goth is a very special party. Tonight, boring black leather and gray digs are banished. Instead, neon club wear, Hawaiian shirts, delightfully tacky fake fur, and brightly colored boas (are there any other kinds?) are heartily encouraged—and could win you prizes in the costume contest. Music at the event to dance and rock out to 'til your eye glitter melts will be performed by Two Lions, Chord and the Fawn, Mother's Tongue, and Chelsea Boys. There will also be live entertainment from First Housewives of Hennepin County, burlesque star Tomahawk Tassels, HomerrJHOMO, and Bobbi Dazzle, among others. Or take in some cinema with films by the Wreck Family and Alex Ward. Throughout the night partiers will also be able to shop for visual art by Andrew Boos, Mecca Johnson, Smelly Kelly, and others. 18+.
