While a trip to the museum is always fun for families, in this nice weather it is especially enjoyable when the museum goes outdoors. Once again the Science Museum will be inviting kids and grownups to play in its backyard during the warm months of summer. Pick up a plant guide and try to identify various species in the Native American gardens, or wander through the prairie maze. Search for gems and fossils in the sluice, or play a round of mini-golf ($3-$4.50 per person per round). Each of the nine holes on the course explores how land changes over time through various factors, including biodiversity, soil erosion, and water flow.
