Homemade gifts always give the biggest warm fuzzies around. But what happens when you don't have time to make that one-of-a-kind treasure? Thankfully, Minnesota's first-ever Unraveled DIY Festival is here. The event promises to offer the best in chic artisan crafts with a chance to take a look at the most creative, unique projects made by hot new DIY talent. There will be more than 50 booths displaying a variety of artwork, including plushy wonders from the likes of Scribblenest and Plushroom Soup. Join Minneapolis Etsy members in the second annual Global Craft Party, as crafters from around the world meet up to share their ideas and art. Sip free Peace Coffee while checking out live music, a fashion show, an outdoor gallery, and a showcase of work by MCAD students. Or try your hand at crocheting in an interactive booth, watch folks from StevenBe perform a yarn-bombing demo, or take home some knitting materials so you can dream up your own crafts.
