Jeffrey Peterson delighted us with his singular dynamism as a performer with companies such as Arena Dances and Jazzdance way back when. Now a member of the dance faculty at Gustavus Adolphus College, he's avidly exploring movement, gender, and sexuality in his own works on Twin Cities stages. His Fringe Festival show last year, Thinkingaview, was a riotous foray into giddy romantic gestures and full-body contact. For this weekend's Fe/Male, he's partnered with fellow faculty member Melissa C. Rolnick in creating three works performed by a "single-gender cast." That means during the first half women perform the works; during the second half the men dance. You decide where the differences lie.
