The Mid-Continental Express Television Dance Party

You've got some smooth moves. You've practiced them in the mirror, and have seen people staring at you at dance nights like Too Much Love and Hotel. Now it's time to take your groove to the next level: public access television. You will be able to do just that at tonight's benefit party at Patrick's Cabaret. Come dressed in your finest; club wear, wild costumes, and retro looks are encouraged. All types of folks will be in attendance, from choreographers to DJs to musicians to barhoppers. Whatever goes down this night—dance offs, solos, break dancing—will eventually air on the The Mid-Continental Express on the Minneapolis Television Network. All proceeds benefit Patrick's Cabaret.

Male clothes are often more practical (that is, they can function well under a wide variety of situations), but a wider range of clothing styles are available for females. Males are typically allowed to bare their chests in a greater variety of public places. It is generally acceptable for a woman to wear traditionally male clothing, while the converse is unusual.

Although dissertations on clothing and its functionality are found from the 19th century as colonising countries dealt with new environments, concerted scientific research into psycho-social, physiological and other functions of clothing (e.g. protective, cartage) occurred in the first half of the 20th century, with publications such as Flugel's Psychology of Clothes in 1930,and Newburgh's seminal Physiology of Heat Regulation and The Science of Clothing in 1949.

Wear in industrial applications is one of a limited number of fault factors in which an object loses its usefulness and the economic implication can be of enormous value to the industry.
