Social Science

Although it's possible for adults to enjoy spending time at the Science Museum of Minnesota, it can get a little frustrating and undignified when you're competing for access to an activity against a six-year-old. This dilemma is remedied at Social Science, a museum happening where only those 21 and up are allowed admission. Tonight, folks will be able to check out exhibits (the current King Tut show is extra), play technology-related games, enjoy a round of Pictionary, and watch live theater performances. There will also be two screenings of the 1932 flick The Mummy. Other grownup treats for the evening include dancing to DJ music; cash bars; snacks by Crave, Golden Fig, and Tea Source; and a photo booth where you can commemorate your evening of feeling like a kid again. 21+.
Wed., March 30, 7-11 p.m., 2011
