Are you broke, but tired of looking at a blank wall? Still rocking those wrinkly movie posters you bought at a poster sale when you were in college? Just want something new and cool to hang over your bed? Then this party and sale at Aesthetic Apparatus should be on your weekend checklist. Over the years the design group has created a myriad of badass gig posters for bands including the Black Keys, Tapes 'n Tapes, and the Decemberists. They've also dreamed up logos for the Triple Rock Social Club, packaging for hip beauty products, and CD covers for bands such as Low, STNNG, and the Mammals. This Saturday, folks will be able to load up on five-dollar posters with minor errors and dings (as someone who owns a few, I can tell you that you have to look hard to find the imperfection on many). Show up early to shop, or stop by later when the sale turns into a party with refreshments and music by Bombay Sweets.
