Michael Bay: director of massive, incomprehensible (to the point of dada) movies like Transformers and Bad Boys II. Mario: crusher of goombas, protector of Princess Peach (with the help of a variety of mushrooms). Two massive franchises collide at the Bryant-Lake Bowl for this latest creation from Comedy Suitcase. So, if you ever wanted to see a "big budget" adaptation of the Super Mario Bros. video games not starring Bob Hoskins and John Leguizamo, here is your chance. Writer Josh Carson and director Tim Uren will fill the stage with the familiar sights of Mario's colorful world brought to life, while the duo will be joined by Emily Jabas, Andy Kraft, and Comedy Suitcase masterminds Levi Weinhagen and Joshua English Scrimshaw.
Fridays, Saturdays, 7 p.m. Starts: March 11. Continues through March 26, 2011
