Who said concerts are just for grown-ups? The folks at 89.3 the Current know that kids should rock out too. Rock the Cradle brings all the fun of concerts and performances to families in an enthusiastic and engaging environment. Hosted at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts and the Children's Theatre Company, this annual event brings communities together in celebrating music, theater, puppetry, art, and books. Listen to Current DJs and their special guest, author and cartoonist Chris Monroe, as they read beloved children's books for story time. Hoppin' bands Koo Koo Kanga Roo and Bazillions will get the little ones dancing at the Kids' Disco. Other musicians performing include Okee Dokee Brothers and Clementown.
