While chocolates and flowers are nice, sometimes the clichés of Valentine's Day can drown out the more randy, visceral experiences and expectations that come with the holiday for lovers. Those looking for a little bawdy entertainment should enjoy this party hosted by the Loring Theater. For two nights only Le Cirque Rouge will present pretty ladies shimmying to some of the most beloved love songs ever written. Sound a little saccharine? It shouldn't be; one of the evening's performances features burlesque artist Queenie Von Curves as she spins her tassels while set ablaze (think of it as a death-defying fire hoop stunt, but with boobs). Comedy, poetry, and other bits and bats will entertain as well. The evenings will also feature a silent auction, a kissing booth with members of the troupe, a photo booth so you can commemorate the evening, and other activities.
