At this first in a series of events promoting local and seasonal foods and healthy living, the Midtown Global Market will be offering recipe and ingredient ideas throughout the day. The highlight of Winter Foods will be the Global Soup Cook-Off, where visitors can sample soups from various restaurants and vote for their favorites (you can also bring recipes home). Other activities include a cooking showdown between the Arts Institute Culinary program and Le Cordon Bleu, and children's culinary activities. Proceeds benefit Perspective Kids Café.
