They say that canines are man's best friend, but can the same be said for the opposite? While workers at overcrowded animal shelters may wonder, the artists participating in this benefit party certainly are BFFs with our furry, tongue-wagging buddies. Over 30 artists—including Rudy Fig, Louisa Greenstock, Biafra Inc., Danny Sigelman—have donated artwork to be sold during this silent auction for charity. All proceeds from the evening will benefit Secondhand Hounds, an Edina-based group that takes care of and find homes for hundreds of full-grown dogs and pups. The organization will also have some puppies that are up for adoption on hand to meet-and-greet (and perhaps even take home). (Nate Vincent Szklarski)
