Just because the skies are gray and the ground is slushy doesn't mean everything in our lives has to be colorless. This evening of local fashion will hopefully help you temporarily banish neutral tones during the official month of winter blahs. The party, featuring spring 2011 designs from 20 artists, will have a "Jailhouse Rock" theme. Expect to hear retro tunes from DJ Ken and party connoisseurs Anthem Heart. Designers may also find themselves drawing inspiration from Elvis Pressley, '50s hipsters, and classic, old-school style. Works by participating locals include the modern tailored threads of Amanda Christine, the dark and elegant work of Danielle Everine, ladylike pieces by Jenny Carle, and many others.
