"As fair art thou, my bonnie pub, so deep in luve am I: and I will luve thee still, my pub, till a' your Scotch's gang dry." If that made sense to you then 1) you probably winced, and 2) there's an event with your name written all over it at Brit's Pub this Tuesday, where lovers of Robert Burns and aged Scottish liquor can settle in and enjoy the Robert Burns Night Scotch Tasting. Six of Scotland's finest distilleries will be featured at this affair, starting with a modest Dewar's 12 year, working back in time to a 16 year AnCnoc, at which point you'll probably be able to pronounce the name of your liquor, or at least think you can. Featured also, of course, are the great works of Scotland's most famous bard. It's a match made in heaven. Don't like poetry? Drink more Scotch. Don't like Scotch? Drink more Scotch! The only way this could be better is if Sean Connery had a cameo.
