While some of the more posh spaces around town will be throwing parties harkening back to swankier eras, the 331 Club is enthusiastically pulling out all the tacky '90s stops that it can. Here, you will be able to ring in 2011 as if it were 1991, as club-goers pay homage to the decade that brought us bands including Color Me Badd, movies such as Free Willy, and awesomely craptacular soaps like Melrose Place and Beverly Hills, 90210. No formal attire will be found here, but be sure to show up in style, be it MC Hammer parachute pants, an oversized "I'm Too Sexy for This Shirt" tee, or a Blossom-style flowered straw hat. Prizes will be given to the person who rocks the era's fashion best. DJs spinning fresh tunes from 20 years ago include DJ Tanner, Dr. Dallas Dog-Palace, and MC Hang Time.
