So, you want to party downtown, but haven't made any reservations and don't have the money to crash one of the more exclusive parties. No worries. Brit's Pub on Nicollet Mall will have plenty to entertain guests with for free. Walk on over or hop a bus this evening, and you'll find plenty of beer on tap, chill partiers, and United Kingdom ambience. Get there earlier for happy hour, where from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. you'll find $5.95 appetizers ranging from Scotch eggs to cod pieces to chicken wings, and $4 wine, beer, and cocktails (certain selections only). Throughout the evening the party should be lively, with performances from bagpipe players, and music from Beatles tribute band A Hard Day's Night (pictured). Grab some bubbly before midnight and toast the New Year.
