A Don't Hug Me Christmas Carol

In case you haven't completely overdosed on Christmas, A Don't Hug Me Christmas Carol will continue its run through the season. The popular holiday piece is back for its fourth consecutive production and features the return of 2004's original cast, including Bonni Allen, Doug Anderson, Michael Lee, Emily Trempe, and Ross Young. The musical, crafted by brothers Phil and Paul Olson (who have created their own cottage industry of similar shows, including A Don't Hug Me County Fair and the upcoming Don't Hug Me, I'm Pregnant), takes us to Bunyan Bay, Minnesota, where a cantankerous bar owner is about to get a holiday he won't forget—provided he wakes from the coma brought on by a snowmobile accident. Along with our hero's Scrooge-like journey, the show features 17 original songs, including "Gunner Fell into an Ice Hole," "The Wheel Is Turnin' but the Hamster Is Dead," and "I Love You More Than Football."
