This weekend, join Le Cirque Rouge Cabaret & Burlesque Show for the most alluring and sensational production in town at their eighth annual Holiday Extravaganza. Here, performers combine the best of holiday musical traditions in arousing vaudevillian fashion with a troupe of singers, dancers, comedians, and a full band. Up to the challenge of reestablishing Minneapolis's burlesque scene after a daunting five-decade hiatus, the group formed in 2003 as the most authentic variety show of its kind in the metro area. Recent appearances at the elegant Irving Plaza ballroom, the world-famous New York burlesque club the Slipper Room, and on the hit show America's Got Talent further prove that the group boasts some of the Twin Cities' finest variety-show performers. Hosted at the 501 Club, don't miss out on this no-holds-barred holiday celebration—it's the troupe's biggest, craziest, and most exciting of the year.
