Art hound, Lady Gaga designer, fashionista, web publisher, and curator Emma Berg collaborated with Mark and Alyssa Fox (sibs, accountants, and gallery owners) on a blockbuster show at the indie Gallery @ Fox Tax. Each selected 10 of their favorite artists, then assembled their works into an exhibition that juxtaposes pieces by Broken Crow and DC Ice, Andrea Stanislav and Jennifer Davis, Miles Mendenhall and Gregory Euclide, Ruben Nusz and Anne George. This eclectic assemblage of national and local notables stays up until January 7. But on Saturday, December 11, each artist offers a gift-wrapped piece (a pretty package, but you won't know what's inside) for $100. Proceeds benefit the charity of each artist's choosing. What's to lose? It's win-win: attainable, affordable art for a cause. The holiday reception is from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday, December 11. (Art by Anne George)
