This Saturday, the Walker hosts a day-into-night festival of arts for a whopping 10 hours. With a sizable time frame (the museum has extended hours just for this celebration) devoted to tours, film screenings, art projects, and exhibits, there's no reason not to stop by the free event. Catch an afternoon movie by the finest teenage Minnesota filmmakers at the 2010 All City Youth Media Network Showcase. Experience the awesome power behind judo as the Midway Judo Club demonstrates the martial arts moves that inspired artist Yves Klein, among other visionaries. Take one of the gallery tours offered all day long, with a special tour of the Klein exhibit conducted in French. Want to take home a piece of art? The Walker's shop has a plethora of endlessly fascinating gifts, including prints, books, knitted scarves, artisan works, and toys for all ages. And for anyone willing to pay a little extra to see what commercials are like on the other side of the pond, the hugely popular British Television Advertising Awards will be showcased later in the evening.
