Target Holidazzle

While most people probably won't make it to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade or the Rose Parade this year, folks from the Twin Cities have no reason to miss the Target Holidazzle. Each year, the downtown celebration attracts hundreds of thousands of families, downtown employees, and barhoppers to watch as dozens of floats lit with Christmas lights proceed down Nicollet Mall. If you've got a family, dress the kids up in their warmest coats, pack a thermos full of hot chocolate, and find a curbside spot with the best view. If you're going with friends or co-workers, stop by Brit's, the Local, Barrio, or any other nearby bar for happy hour to warm you up before walking outside. Are you sensitive to the cold? Reserve a "hot seat" inside the toasty tent at Peavey Plaza. Also, be sure to remember: One way you definitely don't want to take in the parade is while in a rush for the bus, so be aware that public transit is rerouted during parade hours. For more info, visit www.holidazzle.com.
Thursdays-Sundays, 6:30 p.m. Starts: Nov. 26. Continues through Dec. 19, 2010
