Sports on wheels often create precarious situations for athletes, but they make for a lot of fun for audiences. This is definitely the situation with watching a Minnesota RollerGirls game. Tonight there will be wipeouts, collisions, dramatic halts, and frantic sprints in attempts to get jammers around the track. Going head to head will be reigning champions the Atomic Bombshells against the Garda Belts, and the Dagger Dolls versus the Rockits. Station 4 in Lowertown St. Paul will be hosting raucous pre- and after-party celebrations, and entertainment includes youth jugglers the Five of Clubs and '70s retro rockers Surly Jones.
