When Cult Status Gallery says that they are putting together a show featuring monsters and other terrifying creatures, you know that they aren't messing around. Horror movies and horror icons, from Vincent Price to Bela Lugosi, are the gallery's M.O. Because of this, fans will definitely want to check out their freaky art show this Halloween weekend, Gods and Monsters II. The space is once again teaming up with over two dozen artists, including Biafra Inc., Kara Hendershot, Louisa Greenstock, and curator Erin Sayer. Expect creepy paintings, drawings, sculptures, and mixed-media pieces featuring cult heroes, scary movies, and monsters that will haunt your dreams. The opening reception features live music and goes from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Saturday, October 30. (Art by Micheal 'Maggie' DeWitt)
