Design junkies should be familiar with the influential work of Aaron Draplin of Draplin Design Co. Over the years, the artist has created posters, logos, album covers, and more for clients including Wired, MTV, Chuck Prophet, and the Obama administration, among others. For "Thanks MPLS," CO Exhibitions will be covering the walls with epic amounts of posters and prints by Draplin, as well as some original products and new art for sale. Though he is currently residing in the Pacific Northwest, the graphic designer spent a number of his formative years in Minnesota as a student at MCAD, so this event will pay homage to our fair state as well. The opening reception features an Autumnal Brew created specifically for the event by Northern Brewers, live music from the Evening Rig, and good company from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, October 23.
