Though the gulf is far away from our landlocked state, this benefit at the Music Box Theatre demonstrates that we do care about the oil spill and its victims. Though it's a fundraiser, Save Our Sea! is still a party, and should be a raucous good time. Lili's Burlesque will headline the show with moments of comedy, music, dance, and a little skin. Hosted by Nadine Dubois, the evening will also feature performances by musician Daddy Squeeze; newly crowned Queen of Burlesque Coco Lectric from Austin, Texas; and Chicago's boylesque troupe, the Stage Door Johnnies. Patrons who go VIP will be invited to a cast party afterward that includes cocktails, appetizers, and the opportunity to mingle with entertainers.
