Saturday's farmers' market at the mill will be extra special thanks to Oktoberfest. In addition to fruits and veggies for sale, visitors will be able to enjoy beer tastings from Finnegans and Lift Bridge, and chat with local craft brewers. Beer lovers will also want to take a look at the breweriana displays. Not familiar with the term? Breweriana is highly collectible beer paraphernalia, including bottle openers, neon signs, coasters, and other items. Foodies can watch cooking demos from Kramarczuk's Sausage Co. Entertainment includes performances from the Elk River German Band, Alpensterne, and the S.G. Edelweiss Dancers. You can also nosh on German food and local beer in the courtyard, work on a craft project, and learn about the history behind local breweries with author Doug Hoverson.
