You may remember comedian Bret Ernst from Vince Vaughn's Wild West Comedy Show. He has also appeared on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and has his own Comedy Central Presents half hour. Most recently he was the host of Love Games: Bad Girls Need Love Too on the Oxygen network. It wasn't always this way, of course. Like many young performers, Ernst waited tables while trying to make it in standup. "It's the worst job ever," he tells an audience. "You know your job sucks if you get mad when people just come in. I'd be at work and people would show up—Why do they have to eat here?'" He does have advice for people in that line of work though; don't seek employment at a chain restaurant. "They treat it like a real job. You're in a classroom studying menu items. You know you life sucks when you're cheating on food tests. 'Psst! Hey man, what kind of onions are in the jambalaya?'"
