Sean Patton

They say that talk-show appearances don't do as much as they used to for standup comics. However, the heat was on Sean Patton after a hilarious visit to Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last winter. The New Orleans native adeptly gave viewers a snapshot of his stage act, relating some observations about relationships as well as a story about a fight he almost got into. When the altercation broke out, Patton told the audience, his first reaction was to nearly faint. "Which is fine, because no one's going to beat you up if you faint, believe me," he stated. By drawing on his acting skills, he was able to avoid violence. "You're fixing to die," said his adversary, to which Patton responded boisterously, "Hey, you don't know me, I die everyday!" He isn't so lucky in relationships. "If I had to choose between being eaten by a shark and having my heart broken again," he says, "I'd choose being eaten by the shark because at least I'd know the shark wanted me." 18+.
