As the seasons change, so does the name of the property located 1.5 miles from the Arboretum's entrance gates. The SummerHouse becomes the AppleHouse, but is still worth the (minor) road trip out to Chaska. Over the coming weeks more than 50 varieties of apples will be available for purchase. Early pickings will feature the Zestars! (yes, the exclamation point is necessary), but later on Honeycrisps, SweeTango, and Snowsweets will be bagged as well. Stop in at the gift shop and pick up locally made jams, fudge, gardening tools, and other produce from corn to potatoes to zucchini to take home.
