In this era of hyper-celebrity, Lady Gaga may be one of its biggest icons. It has only been about two years since The Fame came out, and since that time the pop star has gone through over a dozen looks (right now she appears to be in a Cher stage), weathered several controversies (Bird flipping at baseball games! Gender confusion! Violent cartoon-y videos banned from YouTube!), and embarked on a tour approaching U2 levels of humility. This Monday, the pop singer will be in town to perform at the Xcel Energy Center. To celebrate, local artists are contributing pieces inspired by the fame monster herself at the Nevermind Gallery. Will some of her star power rub off on their creativity? Stop by on your way to the show, or if you're one of the many who can't afford the $50 to $177 ticket prices, live vicariously through the art.
