Greek food is tasty any time of the year, but it is especially delicious in the summertime. Who knows exactly why this is, but perhaps it has something to do with the lightness of certain selections and the freshness often used in ingredients. You can experience this yourself at the 2010 Greek Festival. This year's menu includes classic treats like roasted lamb, gyros, salads, and spanakopita (spinach pie), with baklava and other pastries for dessert. Greek beer and wine will also be served to wash everything down. During the festival there will also be traditional acts, including dance, live music, and other performances. (Photo by wonderyort)
