Join City Pages for a new summer series of movies and music in Loring Park on Tuesdays through August 24. This week, the free event will screen Fargo at dusk, preceded by the music of Marijuana Deathsquads featuring P.O.S and members of Gayngs at 7 p.m. The following Tuesday, August 17, Mayda performs, followed by the movie Juno. And on August 24, Red Pens perform before a screening of Nobody. Following the movie screening each night, the action moves indoors for an official afterparty at Nick and Eddie next to Loring Park, where additional bands will perform each night at the bar and restaurant. Lunds will provide snacks and beverages; the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board is providing the movie screen and space; and on select evenings, Lay's will offer samples for attendees.
