Punchline Magazine hails Cy Amundson as “one of the most talented young comedians out there.” He recently performed at the prestigious Aspen Comedy Festival, and last year participated in the Seattle International Comedy Competition. He is also a recipient of rooftopcomedy.com’s Silver Nail Award for up-and-coming comedian. His boyish looks belie his sometimes subtly creepy comedy. How creepy is he? So creepy, he claims, he comes across that way even when he’s not joking around. “I have a three-year-old niece,” he tells an audience. “Last week I took her to gymnastics class, and there is a big sitting area for the parents to watch. The class is literally three-year-olds running into stuff. Adorable and hilarious. I was watching with this big goofy grin on my face when one of the mothers asks, ‘Which one is your child?’ I say, ‘Oh, none of them.’ The only worse way I could have answered that would have been, ‘I haven’t decided yet.
