This jazz-dance-based group presents works by Karis Sloss and local legend Zoe Sealy, whose new work "At the End of the Day" explores love and loss. The ambitious Sloss offers several new efforts, ranging from "Common Ground," a syncopated feminist work set to music by Regina Carter, to "Foot in Mouth," a funny finger wag at folks who put on airs. For Sport's Sake explores the highs and lows of the sports world, from disgraced athletes to Olympic Game politics to sports as the possible means of cultural cohesion. With all that, there's gotta be a vuvuzela in there somewhere.
Thursdays-Saturdays, 8 p.m.; Sundays, 2 p.m. Starts: July 15. Continues through July 18, 2010
