Jordan got busted for selling weed: http://services.co.dakota.mn.us/ComplaintSearch/complaint.aspx?ID=10062
I feel sorry for him. Not because of what he's been through, but for the fact that he has the intelligence of a 12 year old. I mean, how is someone supposed to get by in life with that level of intelligence? Truly sad his story is.

Buying a business from Jordan Kavoosi would be like being a used condom and thinking you got something of value. There is no way anyone is stupid enough to purchase Essay writing Company or Pay For Essay business from Jordan Kavoosi - you know the numbers are wrong- the sales are misrepresented- the money he owes people not accounted and the refunds that student didn't get will all come up.
-
Jack 08/09/2010 11:09:00 PM
Jordan Kavoosi is trying to sell his Essay writing Company for $100,000. He makes outrageous claims to the value of the business--- would you purchase ANYTHING from this cheat ---- there are NO audited financial only Jordan's Word--- and his word is worthless and meaningless...... His websites are worthless - Google Jordan Kavoosi and Essay Writing Company NO ONE in their right mind would buy that business even for $5 after leaning about his track record. Jordan Kavossi is most likely headed for jail the way he runs business.

I worked with Jordan at Dairy Queen for several years. Ironically enough, seeing as he accused Morse-Kahn of being an alcoholic, he himself was fired for being drunk at work. He is the epitome of hipocracy. Personally knowing him I was always aware of the internet scams, pyramid schemes, and general shadiness he surrounded himself with. He constantly trolls forums and even this site pretending to be others and makes pathetic attempts at defending himself through deception. I specifically remember the day someone informed him of what his tattoo really meant. The fact that it actually meant "deception" is too good to even make up. That word personifies him. His father should be ashamed to take part in Jordan's madness. Kavoosi has a wonderful mother and brother though, and I can only imagine what they think of Jordan now. All this by the age of 24? I wonder where he'll be in even 5 years. Oh, wait....... jail probably.
-

Glad someone finally "nailed" this creep. What a disgusting pig. What's even more pathetic is how proud he is of himself and what a failure he truly is.

I randomly sampled one of the "coursework examples" available on essaywritingcompany.com and here is what I found: "To explanation the thesis that the law of comparative advantage is relevant in the question at hand, it is first necessary to demonstrate that there has been an increase in the growth of trade in services relative to the growth in trade in goods. Figure 1 provides that evidence." This is seriously the first sample essay that I clicked on and it actually says "To explanation the thesis." See for yourself under "economics homework." This is supposed to be a college-level assignement with a guaranteed A.
And...Dr. J's soul-patch looks really cool.

if all of the essays are original, then this guy is going to get RICH fast
i used to write papers for lazy friends, nothing more than 5 or 6 pages, but the number of lazy kids in high school these days is mind blowing. half of the time these 10pg papers are assigned in high school, the teachers just look to see that they are done and then they move onto the next one
i dont think something like this would work very well in college unless you were using one of these "bought" essays every single time, because usually a TA or professor picks up on your style after the first or 2nd paper and could tell who did and didn't write it

Alex, Ian, Cheena and Sharron - why don't you contact Andy Mannix of City pages--- or the TV NEWS channels... if you are real people with real email and names and agree to meet him in person along with the ALLEGED writer of the papers you claim were SO GOOD--- WHY because all those posts are from Jordans directive... Can you imagine how it will be when the new reporters try to speak to this idiot? AH JOrdan- HOw come you do not pay writers? Jordan how come you do not give refund? Jordan how come your company is not registered in the State of Minnesota? Jordan how come you pass high school writers of as college degree writers? Jordan how come you have no one that stays with you writing for more than a few weeks? Jordan why does EVERY person have the same story about their dealing with you? Jordan... have you paid your rent in Apple Valley yet? Jordan how come you are seen drinking and driving around when you are legally not supposed to?
-
Dan 07/19/2010 11:29:00 PM
Anyone who has ever met Jordan knows that is a scumbag- even people who went to high school with him. Did he flunk out the first semester at Dakota Community College. IS it true that the University of Minnesota is warning all freshmen and students this fall? No one in their right mind would be proud they did business with Jordans Company NONE--- I do not believe it at all. Just more Kavoosi fraud.
The post below where Jordan passed a high school student off as an expert college degreed writer and the customer found out about it should tell you to stay away from this sort of company.
-
Jason 07/19/2010 11:21:00 PM
Alex, Ian, Sheena and Sharron - THESE APPEAR TO BE WRITTEN BY jORDAN..... PEOPLE DO NOT WRITE ENDORSEMENT FOR HIS COMPANY - HE has still not paid writers nor refunds to many many students... these posts appear to be fake and phony and posted BY Jordan Kavoosi himself-- the sentence structure is the same for each post- PLUS thats Jordans Style posting fake store is-- like the One where he is a DOCTOR in Austin Texas endorsing Teeth Whitener- and it lists Jordan Kavoosis telephone number--- Jordan is headed for jail.... again! IS he and his family legally in the USA from IRAN?

I must say essaywritingcompany is doing its job well. You see academics is not everything. Success is not all about graduating with honors. Its about being street smart and emotionally intelligent. This company is a big help to most people. Especially those who have multiple and busy roles in life.

C'mon guys. I bet one way or another you have had availed of the services of essaywritingcompany.com. Some people may see it as evil having to ask somebody else to write for them. Meanwhile, the satisfied clients see them as life savers. Not everybody is cut out to be a writer but it doesnt mean they are stupid or something. We all get by with a little help from our friends.
-
Cheena 07/17/2010 12:51:00 PM
I have heard a lot about essaywritingcompany.com. They say that they are effective and efficient in what they do. Honestly, I came to their site because I need an 8-page essay done and with everything I’ve heard, this seemed to be the best place. True enough, they deliver. I dont know what other dissatisfied people are talking about. They have been a great help.
-
Alex 07/17/2010 12:47:00 PM
For a reliable writing company, essaywritingcompany.com is what I like. They deliver what they promise because they take writing as a very serious business. They believe that it is as important as any other businesses out there. In writing, the content is the meat of everything. It all lies in the content. A great content will be a shining moment for you, while a sloppy content will cost you your reputation as a writer. With this reliable writing company, I am sure that they deliver what they promise and therefore I don’t find a need to worry needlessly about my essays any day.

Let's see here.
From the EWC website, first bullet point under why choose us:
"Essaywritingcompany.com has been providing non-plagiarized essay writing since 1998."
From whois.com (a site that maintains public domain records)
Hint, take a look at the last line.
"Domain Name: ESSAYWRITINGCOMPANY.COM
Registrar: 1 & 1 INTERNET AG
Whois Server: whois.schlund.info
Referral URL: http://REGISTRAR.SCHLUND.INFO
Name Server: NS51.1AND1.COM
Name Server: NS52.1AND1.COM
Status: ok
Updated Date: 29-apr-2010
Creation Date: 02-sep-2009
Expiration Date: 02-sep-2010"
I guess they are better at writing than math. One could argue that the people running it have been providing a service since 1998 but it is pretty clearly a lie to specifically say that Essaywritingcompany.com has been providing anything since 1998.
Also, according to www.merriam-webster.com,
"plagarize -
: to steal and pass off (the ideas or words of another) as one's own : use (another's production) without crediting the source"
So really they are providing material that by definition is to be used for plagarism, unless of course the student chose to cite the true source, which would be kind of funny. Here's my essay prof, the bibliography is pretty easy, Source, all: essaywritingcompany.com
I would love to see a professor ask each student to extrapolate on the rationale for arriving at a point on page 6 of one of those essays. I'm thinking the look on the face would be priceless.

Anyone with any experience with this dushbag knows him for what he is- and uneducated- scammer looking for a fast buck anyway he can get it... Doctor Jordan Kavoosi---- has anyone heard if the good people in Austin Texas - are looking into the good Doctors representations - or is the good Doctor living in England now as a professional writer as yet another site claims-

Truth 07/12/2010 3:57:00 PM
Writing an essay can be a difficult process. An essay requires meticulous preparation, and is an arduous task.
Many people within academia have major difficulty understanding how to write an essay. Yet any student who devotes the time needed can be taught how to write an essay. Usually, an essay requires research on a specific topic. This research will serve as the information bank for the essay. When learning how to write an essay, it important to consider just exactly what an essay is. For example, the origin of the word essay is derived from the French word "essayer" which means to try or attempt. When the Frenchman Michel de Montaigne was researching how to write an essay he basically figured he was "attempting" to put his thoughts down on paper, thus, he coined the term "essay" to describe the process. Actually, the key to writing a good essay is having a well written outline.

There are a lot of businesses like this one. It may seem unethical to some, however, so are the demands of those who reside is academic fantasy land (professors). Nevertheless, I , as a writer, am well aware of who Jordan Kavoosi is and what he is guilty of. The guy does not deliver on his promises and lies through his teeth.

thenemeis 07/09/2010 1:32:00 AM
HOw come he is not arrested for impersonating he is a Doctor? Jordan is a scammer - not because he owes money-- owing money is NOT against the law--- Deceit, fraud, misrepresentation is against the law and "intent" is the foundation of fraud is also against the law as to how he runs his business. He has registered new we bsites under different names already so the "beat" goes on.
His father as a character witness-- guess he had no one else. Seems his dad had some issues as a landlord as well.
The "can of worms" is open now- and his business exposed- this story is not going away- it is the beginning and his new websites are already noted - even the ones he puts under someone else name and legal laws will prevail and his accounting can be made public in court- I will be glad to see this fully exposed for the fraud that it is.
Jordan may not be playing with a full deck or reality -.... to think he can continue business in this manner? There is no mall that will allow him to run this business in their mall becasue the schools would boycott the mall in a skinny minute. Writing papers for students and offering a "B" is one thing- waving it front of educators nose is another and not delivering as represented is yet another.
Jordan is actually proud of the story and the cover of city pages--- because his idol is the lyrics and philosophy of the rapper fitty-cents
IS it true Jordan thinks of himself as a "celebrity" ????

The international Indian student I share a house with told me about his part-time job writing assignments for students in Saudi Arabia. This was all set up through a website that runs out of Sydney Australia. The sad thing is that the Indian student doesn't think he's doing anything wrong. He says that at the university he attends the professors can't possible read every assignment and he knows they don't because there are very seldom any comments on them - just a mark. Sad indeed!

This guy is going to pay a price for what he is doing the same way all those who do unethical things will. People who "bargain" with morality will continue to do so and are NOT to be trusted ever. It always starts out small, but eventually those who use Darwinian ethics or situation ethics (except for their OWN selfishness) but eventually this is the kind of guy you read about in the paper for killing someone. I have seen people like this all my life. They lack the capacity for honesty. They lie ALL the time and justify it. They lie even when they don't have to. They steal and minimize it. They libel others and project their own inadequacies on them. The fact is they never last long. Eventually they slip up or the light is on them long enough to be seen for the cockroaches they are.
The best you can do is just to NOT give them business. I am enrolled in college after 20 years. I am 44 years old. I made a 4.0 my first semester all without having to CHEAT. If I can do it ANYONE can.
Also my hats off to Deborah Morse-Khan. She had the guts to face the fact she made the mistake for (briefly) promoting plagiarism through this company and then did her best to make good and show the world what (Kavoosis) really all about. Unethical behavior both in WHAT his company is all about (promoting CHEATING) and HOW he runs a company (Stealing from his employees)
BTW i spent 20 years in business. Goons like this never last long. I see jail in this buffoons future.

I've met this guy and he is the total scum of the earth. My nickname for him was Rico Suave. He's a charmer and a manipulator. He's got a crooked smile and weasel eyes. His father was the same way. It doesn't surprise to find out what kind of business he is in. All I have to say is I hope everyone stops using his services, both the writers and the students. And I hope the government will stop being scammed by him too and take him off the welfare he's been getting too, because he obviously doesn't need it.

Black market economics in action. Where there's demand, there's supply. To me, the biggest issue is when those demanding and those supplying get screwed in the transfer. Kind of like a homework pimp I guess. The funny thing is that this sort of gray-area business isn't limited to strip malls. As someone who has taken a couple grad classes at the U of M, I can tell you that they aren't much better in some cases. I took an online class this winter based on the fact that a well-known professor was teaching it. Wrong. Instead, a TA that was in Beijing at the time facilitated. In the private sector, it's know as bait-and-switch.

Terri: You found me and wrote to me directly on my business email. You, however, are nowhere to found in any directory on the web, including LinedIn which you took care to point out. You wrote so quickly, how interesting that is. There is no Terri Zorn listed anywhere in the state of Minnesota. Still, I am flattered, whatever your name really is. You see, Jordan corralled all kinds of strange friends to pretend to be students, colleagues, family. He really did threaten us by phone, drunk and profane. He really did post horrific libels (vs. slander, which is spoken and therefore very hard to pin on anyone, thank you Jordan!)
The blurb you found on the web is a fragment from the ComplaintBoard.com sequence of libels that the Dakota County courts nullified and cleared, providing me with the document that was needed by ComplaintBoard.com to remove all of Jordan's and Jordan's colleagues' postings. You missed his best accusation! That I had molested his six-year-old child! Ah....but he has no children, a statement he made in court after first being warned of the penalty for commiting perjury.
Fifteen years of work and eleven books and research, consultation with state governments and nonprofit organizations was followed by a desperate year of poverty (earnings) and great blessings (friends and family who took care of me) persuaded me quickly to no pursue any work that my father would find unethical, and so I stopped almost as soon as I had started. I walked away. Until Jordan made the great mistake of trying to force me and all other past writers to stop posting warnings about working for this man. Once in court, the entire innards of his many companies was laid open to the judge and is now a public transcript. If you really exist, spend some money and read. The great sadness was that Jordan brought his father into court and we feel that this first-generation citizen became aware of the real nature of his son.
Look up 'amorality.' It will enlighten you.
As you have written to throw a stone at me for me base conduct, I will leave my stones on the ground for you must surely be faultless and thus free of blame for any missteps. I am very happy for you.
Good luck, take care...whoever and wherever you are.

I find it pathetic that Deborah Morse-Kahn even showed her face in this article. She is just as guilty as the "business owner". So she is broke...Well why didn't she get a job other than writing then. Do something LEGAL AND ETHICAL! How anyone could knowingly write term papers in order for students to cheat their way through college is beyond my understanding.
She and the rest of them should be charged in court.

So for $230, I could get a 10-page essay on why plagiarism is ethical. For another $230, I could get a paper on why plagiarism is unethical.
Or I could get the same amount of "information" about ethics in 4 years at a liberal arts college for $80,000.

I teach college English. The problem with this issue is not that there is a supply to meet the demand, but rather that the INSTRUCTORS do not set up assignments properly to make it more difficult for students to purchase a "B" paper online and pass. What about having students workshop their work? What about demanding paper proposals? What about mandating that students turn in their sources--ahead of the due date of the paper? If you give students an easy out, some (but not most) will take it. You can't give them that out.

If you have any pay concerns please call 188845ESSAY as we are willing to compensate writers who were not paid due to business slowing down or shoot us an email mnsavage@yahoo.com with your info in it. As far as the article goes we did not make 40K profit it was gross and most / all money went to labor and marketing. We have never ever held money from Cindy she was paid every dime. Her pay was just delayed from once a week to every 2 weeks due to business slowing down for a month. Cindy and I were actually friends. We are suing City Pages for slander. If it were profit we would have no pay issues. Deb worked for us 3 days and we never threatened her. Eric wrote 2-3 essays for us not 70 and was paid for his work. If you really want to resolve the issue, stop complaining, grow up and make the call to get paid/resolve the issue. Thanks Management.

My boyfriend used to write for Jordan and after reviewing his essays, I figured it was a pretty easy thing to do. We even got to watch America's Next Top Model together and write an analysis on the show and American Culture--it was fun! However, I couldn't get over the ethical implications; particularly b/c I would like to be a teacher.
I asked my current teacher at the time what she thought about such a racket and whether she thought I should do it and her response was, "Well, everybody does it, and it's very hard to catch those who do it, so why not?" I decided in the end I couldn't write papers for (mainly) on-line students. Plus after inquiring about the job with Jordan and his error-riddled reply I couldn't work for such a grammatically lax and ethically lax organization. There ARE legit companies out there however, that will not go away any time soon.

Do you really want some quack Dr. opporating on you who cheated his way through school? I don't. I want someone who knows what they are doing. I have a double BA in history and political science currently and am working on my MA... I have never cheated on an assignment like this and never would, and the fact that there are people out there like this is disgusting to me. I work my butt off to maintain a 3.8-3.9 GPA and people like this make my legitimate hard work seem like nothing because they didn't do the work themselves. I hope the law does something about this and shuts this a-hole down.

Jess- I stand to correct you. I wrote for the shithead Jordan and did MANY nursing papers, and research papers for med students. I could not write it but Jordan accepted a paper for a med student on Stem cell research - I am sure the student was NOT happy with with paper- that is if Jordan even delivered it. Jordan will says YES to every paper- every level every subject and may not give a refund to the student if the paper is not delivered.

LOL 07/01/2010 11:31:00 PM
Anyone that is aghast at this is living in a bubble. Most colleges, most degrees, are completely hollow of actual meaning or substance. I was never challenged by a class at my notable 4 year college, completing all of my own work with ease. However, I saw hundreds (maybe thousands) of "book worms", people so completely over-saturated with a desire to succeed that it literally consumed their lives. At the end of the day the outcome is clear. Of those overwhelmed and dizzy kids that had "no time for anything but the next assignment" I know of none that have met the level of success that my friends or myself now enjoy. In my fraternity there was a constant trade of "write my paper for $100 by tomorrow" or any number of similar barders. We were then free to socialize and network- build relationships that would pay dividends orders of magnitude higher than the scholarly march of assignment after assignment.
This guy does sound like a massive failure in the making. But not because of the concept of the business. He will fail because he doesn't take care of the people who work for him. He is motivated by the wrong outcomes. For that he will fail.
Otherwise- I believe that no college student (undergraduate) should be forced to jump through the endless hoops that are spawned by nothing more than the professors own late night cram session to turn in the lesson plan that is due tomorrow.
PROTIP: Google "lesson plans for sale" "lesson plans" or any of the like... and you will see that this is just human nature. People smart enough to navigate the road and get the degree will still have to be smart enough to satisfy an employer, you can't bullshit that all the time. But if you do- Congrats!
Abridged version: Undergraduate Education is a complete joke. Jump through the hoops and make as many real friends as possible in the mean time. Those friends will open more doors than any diploma. Also- this Kavoosi guy seems like a douche.

What's unethical about a strip club or porn shop? What he's doing is actually unethical, not just in poor taste.
-
eric S 07/01/2010 11:17:00 PM
eric: Why does everything need a "law" against it in order to be considered bad. It is not against the "law" to stick you arm on a fire, but it is bad for you and most people recognize the results. I am not one for BIGGER government but what ever happened to integrity, ethics, responsibility, character and honesty? Do those count for anything? Schools should force students to sign a statement of ethics and honesty and if caught then expelled.
I do like you reference to the job market, you are right on target. Should it be noted on the resume; I actually did not do all the course work , homework or essays, "I was too hung over and busy cleaning my bong, hitting the clubs, downloading iTunes, sex-ting, attending concerts, partAA's and getting booze for the social committee."
Jordan is a loser and could not get a job anywhere else is my opinion - his business skills are built around his tattoo- deceptive! IF he would cheat his "right hand" staff - he would surely cheat a student or writer.... just give him the chance and he will show you. HE is dishonest.

A porn shop or a strip club may be consider immoral, but are certainly not unethical. Knowingly selling essays for other people to claim as their own can certainly be consider immoral too. The ones who purchase the essay are definitively being unethical.

Jess, your reference to a doctor is irrelevant to the argument about Jordan's essay writing businessand and the possible negative consequences of academic ghost-writing.
1. Very few of Jordan's writers and academic ghost-writers in general work on assignments for doctors or professions of similar social significance.
2. Of course, you may argue, perhaps I am taking your point too literally, you're not actually saying that businesses such as these create fraudulent physicians, but they are creating frauds of some kind.
After all, essay writing businesses can and do help people get BAs and MAs in a wide range of different academic fields ranging from English to Business Administration. Very well, lets think about the academic integrity and the general character of the person who paid someone to do nearly all of his assignments. Now, tell me, is it really in your power to believe that this person would not have found another way to attain his or her degree by academically illegitimate means!?
Lets pretend that this student somehow wasn't able to find a way to cheat on every assignment, do you really believe that this person would have finished school having learned a great deal? I am sure you've come across many cases of very good students who spent hours cramming for exams only to forget everything they 'learned' after having gotten an 'A'.
I remember when I was a student, a friend of mine was consulting his professors regarding what school he should attend. Most of the young instructors urged him to do everything in his power to gain admission to the most prestigious school in the nation as doing otherwise, they contended, would be a waste of his time and money. However, when he posed the same question to an older professor, the response he got was decidedly different. The senior instructor opined that how good you will be at your academic discipline and how much you will learn has a lot more to do with how willing you are to learn than with what school you attend.
You can write a million papers while retaining virtually nothing as you can take hundreds of tests. This concept is very difficult to grasp for most people because they take the same approach to learning as they do to virtually everything else.
Most people work endless hours on jobs that they neither enjoy nor regard as important and they do so strictly as means to the end of earning a paycheck. Once the tedium of labor ends, they return home to continue their unreflective, uninspiring and in all respects unremarkable lifestyles. They run mundane chores and stare into the television screen until their eyes bleed.
On the very few occassions when these people do take the time to reflect about their lifestyles, they naively assume that because they spent a lot of time at their job, they must have accomplished something significant---after all, they've earned a living, that must count for something, must it not? Of course procuring an income is not an easy task and any person who accomplishes such a feat deserves credit, but don't confuse that for genuine learning.
You can do well as an accountant, secretary, preacher, street police officer by merely working hard without thinking and without having any intellectual ambitions, you can even be a straight-A student with such an attitude, but you won't attain valuable skill and knowledge that most people think you should attain by attending the university. There is a huge difference between merely 'going to school' and learning and interestingly enough, when most people talk about their experiences with the university, they rarely spend a great deal of time discussing how much they are learning and what they are learning, instead they make utterances reminiscent to the following: I go to school, I attend university X, I am getting my XXX degree. Although I am not an aficionado of psychoanalytic thinking, but it certainly does seem to be the case that by making such seemingly innocuous claims, the general American publicly unwittingly reveals its true mindstate about education.
These discoveries sound alarming and profoundly disqueiting to many and the gravity of this situation compels us to wonder who should be blamed for this. After all, we can hardly deny that people can and do get As in their classes only to forget most of the material they've regurgitated in their essay or exam. It only seems intuitive for us to blame the professors because they are the ones designing the curriculum. If they wanted to, they could have created tasks that don't allow students to do well or even pass without learning, right?
Wrong, if the typical American curriculum demanding genuine creative and critical thought, the drop-out rate would have been much higher than it is today and in all likelihood most universities would incur bankruptcy.
Should the students be blamed for this problem? I don't think this seems plausible to me either. Since early age they've been conditioned to become passive recipients of political and religious propaganda. Values of aggressive capitalism and religious fundamentalism have been ravaging our ethos for decades and both ideologies are fiercely antagonistic towards independent thinking and zealously supportive of uncritical acceptance of the existing ideologies.
How on earth can you even begin talking about critical thinking to a college freshman who spent nearly half of his waking hours watching non-sense television shows such as Jerry Springer, Office, Friends and so forth and listening to pastor Jack about the paramount significant of having faith in his church community by rejecting any idea that disagrees with their preaching. Don't you think that people form certain habits of mind after years of exposure to such rubbish? Furthermore, even the most basic structure of our pre-college education system reinforces the cultural attitudes promoted by capitalism and religious fundamentalism.
Jess, just take a moment to think about the method that we employ to instruct middle and high school students. We give them a lecture, we tell them to read a book and then we lambast them with a host of conceptually vacuous short-answer multiple choice and short-answer questions. Almost never do we ask them to critically analyze this or that idea or to demonstrate an ability to think creativily and analytically about the subject matter they've been instructed in. Students who show creativity and independence of mind are chastized and those who piously follow the instructions and accept the teacher's word as the divine oracle are profusely rewarded.
Don't you think that the way people view the world has been profoundly influenced by the endless hours of television watching, religious congregations and in-class instructions that purge the students of all curiosity and intellectual ambitions? Are you really naive enough to believe that teenagers who have since birth been conditioned to uncritically accept what they've been taught will demonstrate an interest in learning?
What do we have here---an onslaught of students who go to school just to get a degree? An uninquisitive bunch of adolescents who, like Mr. Kavoosi and his idol 50 Cent want to 'get money by all means necessary' who come to class with an attitude that they should get an A just because they paid for their education? What can a college professor do to inspire these people to learn? In most cases, virtually nothing. Consequently, professors of undegraduate courses are forced to design the kind of a curriculum that the students would be willing to pay for, or one in which they could succeed without learning.
Students don't need to use the services of an academic ghost-writer to become frauds, they become frauds when they earn their degree without learning and their professors are more than happy to accommodate them. This system thrives because the powers that be don't find it objectionable, after all, our corprorate and political leaders are not in the business of learning, they're in the profit business. They're more than happy to aid the educational curriculum that creates chattel for them to exploit. They don't want to deal with autonomous thinkers and visionaries as this may undermine the stability of their regime, they want people who will thoughtlessly obey their orders to uphold the current scenario. Sadly, despite the fact that we think of educators as the champions of critical thought and the students' saving grace from the pernicious influence of the media, our educational system is the most servile lackey of those who wish to uphold the current cultural regime.
Perhaps a quote from Plato would aptly summarize the motto of our cultural values.
"The strongest principle is that everybody, whether male or female, should have a leader. Likewise, no one should get into the habit of doing anything at all on his own initiative ---either in earnest or in jest. Both in war and during time of peace, he should respect his leader and follow him faithfully. He should look up to his leader and follow his guidance in even the smallest matters. For example, he should get up, move around, wash and have his meals...only at such times as he has been ordered to do so. In other words, he should get into a habit, by a long process of training, of never dreaming of acting independently, and thus becoming incapable of such action." The Laws, 942a
At the outset, one is tempted to exclaim that this is absurd! We live in a democracy for God's sake! Do we live in Cuba or in North Korea where people are dragged out of their houses for criticizing the authorities? The matter is not that simple, there are ways to achieve thought control in a democratic society and I've delineated some of them in this post. You may learn about the detailed technique the authorities can employ to achieve this goal by reading Noam Chomsky's renowned work: Necessary illusions: Thought control in a democratic society.
The thought control in question even takes place in graduate level academies, as William Pannacker, a professor of English seriously asks if graduate school is a cult. http://chronicle.com/article/Is-Graduate-School-a-Cult-/44676/
If anything, the academic ghost-writer rescues the student from hours of tedious and thankless labor. The students who buy term papers won't learn anything because they lack the ambition to do so and with the 'cultish' element of education in consideration, you just know that it truly is very difficult to come out of the classroom having learned a lot as the pressure to thoughtlessly regurgitate the presented material is very high. Even the most creative and inquisitive of students often give in to the pressure of merely following senseless and arbitrary instructions at the expense of original thinking because they know that punishments for questioning the current academic order are dire. I have come across many very intelligent and creative students who received very low marks for excellent papers because they did not follow citation rules and did not recapitulate the class readings, while their intellectually unambitious friends earned As for papers that demonstrated no independent or critical thought. The other a day, a teaching assistant friend of mine graded 80 papers and noticed that 4 of them were exceptional and gave them a grade of 97 percent. She wasted no time taking these four outstanding essays to her professor and enthusiastically praised their authors. Instead of rejoicing with her, the senior scholar furrowed his brows and picked up one of these papers where he saw an improper APA citation. He flipped to the last page and saw that it did not have enough sources and ordered for this grade to be lowered by 10 points. My friend was furious and struggled to maintain her equanimity--- "But this would send the wrong message to the student!" exclaimed the dismayed Teaching Assistant. "Doing otherwise would send the wrong message to the students who followed directions" responded the grim professor.
Sadly, many of the senseless instructions that professors impose upon students serve a ritualistic, rather than an edifying purpose. Public universities are not the sanctuaries of pure learning, they, just like the Catholic Church and the Communist party are self-serving social agencies. Their purpose is to stay in business and to institute self-congratulating practices that keep their group morale elevated and there is no better way to accomplish that goal than by indoctrinating the callow undergraduate students. As a writer and an intellectual, the best I can do is to show you what is hiding behind this high-sounding bombast and rhetoric of 'genuine learning and edifying experiences' taking place in undergraduate classes of academia. Professors who still speak out against academic ghost-writing and preach the virtues of academic integrity are either consciously engaging in propaganda to aid the cause of their employers or have achieved extraordinary self-delusion. An academic ghost-writer should not be chastized for facilitating plagiarism, but revered from rescuing today's youth from indoctrination into the system of such shallow cant.

My issue with students writing papers for other individuals is the impact it will have on the job market. A student who does not do their own research may run into issues when they look for a job. The comparison to strip clubs is moot. The stripper is providing entertainment, not substituting their lives in place of the customer's spouse.
Think of it this way, would you rather have a doctor who never did his own research operate on you, over the doctor that actually did the work himself? I certainly wouldn't.

This is one of the funnier articles I've read outside of the Onion. This guy sounds like a huge douchebag, but I guess there aren't any laws against that. Any idiot that is willing to do business with him and risk getting caught or ending up without a paper they were promised deserves it. Of course the teaching assistants that grade the papers probably have no idea, so the chances of getting caught are pretty slim, especially if it's an original work. Again... thanks for this article. It was definitely amusing.

The storefront is new, but nothing else in this story is. Writers like me have been doing this kind of work for decades if not longer. Frankly, I find it very hard to believe that every Oxford grad (especially the nobility) wrote all their own papers.
My focus was more on essays than research papers but the bottom line was just the same: more people than you think buy their way through college. I've read and reviewed textbooks for grad students, and have rewritten more than a few stinker papers for ESL students struggling with the concept of articles like "a" and "the."
Stiffing out of state writers is also nothing new. An outfit out of Georgia burned me and dozens of other writers. The resume services offered were legit, but the payment to the writers was slow at first and then stopped entirely. I would encourage City Pages to investigate how law enforcement handles such cases (they don't).
This is a growth industry because college is now more about whether you have the money, not the smarts.

Stop passing blame - This guy is a human dirt ball. Jordan's father works with Jordan's company - in what capacity does his Iranian tailor father not educated in the USA work in a company that does homework for "ANY subject- any level" of college anytime? Does he write the Doctorate level papers with Jordan? Perhaps!
Jordan's biz model is a "paper" prostitute providing a service to "johns" for an outrageous price that parents do not know they are paying for. Jordan's "pimp" mind-set and "greed" combined with the student apathy is to blame.
NO ONE ELSE is to blame! It is NOT anyone else's fault that students cheat. It is not anyone else's fault that Jordan is standing on the street corner willing to take their money with a smile. -It is NOT the schools fault! It is not "society's" fault! It is NOT the educational systems fault (while they are far from perfect).
Why is it become fashionable to "blame others" instead of facing the truth. Jordan is the "pimp" his prostitutes are the writes and his Johns are the students. He will tell you, he is just a "bidness" man providing a service in demand. Like the pimp and drug dealer Jordan cares about greed and the cash in his pocket and serves no one but himself.
Jordan supplies the "drug fix" because the student doesn't want to face the reality of responsibility of expectations.
What value system does Jordan have that accepts cheating writers and students as a life style and way of business? Has cheating and fraud become acceptable in education to the benefit of the pimp?
What value system does Jordan have by bragging about making $43 a month all the while cheating both the writer and the student out of refunds and payments. He sticks the money in his pocket and laughing at both parties and rationalizes "that's the American Way."
His business should be illegal and the schools should stop him NOW!- If his intent as a "paper pimp" is to get all the money he can from his "johns" and prostitutes" illegal in his execution and NOT just unethical. His example of Menard's customer complaints is the same as his business growth problems with unpaid writers and screwed over consumers is laughable and it only further makes him a clown.
Surely the school administration in Burnsville will approach the city to outlaw Jordan doing students homework right in front of their nose. Teachers should also stand up to this fraud that Jordan perpetrates.
Jordan's "homework mills" setting in shopping malls should be banned. Jordan thinks it a great idea to have student playing XBOX while someone else is doing their homework the student will turn in as their own.
Jordan should be put out of business because of misrepresentation. The only one that wins in Jordan's business--- is Jordan! Just like the greed of a prostitutes pimp Jordan just flashed his tattoo and displays his smirky smile.

I think the root cause of this situation would be something more along the lines of lazy students wanting something for nothing. There is no educational environment that justifies academic fraud.

I have experienced NOTHING but problems dealing with Mr. Kavoosi.
http://www.complaintsboard.com/complaints/essay-writing-company-and-jordan-kavoosi-c298094.html?sort=datea&page=2
I can own up to the fact that yes, I myself should have been writing my paper but I was in a jam and I needed help. I then found his "business" online and decided I would try it out (dumb, very dumb on my behald). I gave him all the details and criteria for the paper, giving him no reason to return to me a profound essay from the "educated" personal working for him. Instead I recieved no paper at all. I had already paid for the essay so this was not a matter I was going to just let go because quite frankly, it's expensive and I don't have money growing in my backyard. I sent numerous emails which were left unattended too and finally after about an hour of calling I got through to customer service. In the bakground I could hear what seemed to be an office party, loud drunk baligerant fools babbling and the owner Jordan Kavoosi slurring his words and speaking to me in a completely unfprofessional mannor. At that point I asked myself "What respected business man holds office parties for minors, serving them alcohol and letting then run around and scream like banchees?" I then knew that I had made an awful mistake. When I spoke of my situation Jordan said no problem I'll call one of my writers and it will be in your inbox first thing tomorrow morning along with a refund for my late essay. Irritable I accepted the offer and went to bed. The next morning I awoke only to find my inbox empty; no refund, no paper. I immediatly placed a call to the company and Jordan said he had just spoken with the writer and they would be sedining it to me in a matter of minutes. Soon enough my essay had come and when proof-reading it was as if a 12 year had written my paper on the female body. When I called to ask who had written this horrid trash he called a "grade A" paper he responded that it was none of my business, I had my paper so I could be on my way. He then hungup the phone. Well clever me, the employee had emailed me from thier address so I shot them an email quick and with in 10 minutes I had a response . . . it was a high school student, just trying to make some extra cash. Now I can't slander the student because it wasn't thier fault but how could Mr. Kavoosi even think it would be alright to have a high school senior writing a paper for my college anatomy class? To this day it boggles my mind as well as the fact that my refund never appeared. All I got from using this business was a late grade with a big fat F and see me posted at the top. Thanks Jordan Kavoosi. I support anybody trying to take his business from him. He has clearly proven to be immature, irresponisble and unprofessional. So fire up the band wagon folks and lets get our money back!

Essay Writing Company Inc. is not registered in the State of Minnesota as a legal company. How does he pay taxes? Jordan's philosophy follows the lyrics ... "Do what ever it takes to get all the money and screw everyone else."
Jordan will lie, cheat and misrepresent anything to anyone. He appears proud that he cheats people. His business philosophy is based on the rap lyrics of fity-cent and Jordan will in fact tell you that he intends to get all the money he can anyway he can. It appears to bring him pleasure to have a stash of cash and yet not pay people he owes for papers or refunds.
Unfortunately Jordan has found a profitable niche in the homework market where cheating people out of their money is acceptable. Jordan will also tell you he is "not worried one bit about being prosecuted" because no-one including students will prosecute him because they do not want their instructors to know they did not write their own assignment paper. IF they complain that I did not refund their money or do anything, then the instructor and teacher could "easily" learn of the fraud. Do you see "Cheshire" smile in the corner Jordan's face?
Burnsville Mall- (or any other mall)- surely would not allow him to setup such a sweatshop of fraud.
Jordan does NOT have employees he has 1099 independent contractors that he owes money. HE uses bogus excuses to find ways not to pay writers or refunds.
Surely the local schools and legal authorities should get involved and shut him completely down. Parents surely do not endorse Jordan's methods. Schools should have the student and parent sign a statement each year as to the validity of their homework and agree to NOt USE A THIRD PARTY SCAM SHOP.
There is nothing good to come from a Jordan Kavoosi run business.
Jordan represents himself as a Doctor, in order to sell teeth whitener, that should be referred to Dakota County for IMMEDIATE Criminal prosecution and at the least a cease and desist. While HE MAY NOT HAVE Practiced - he should not be able to fraudulently induce others to buy teeth whiteners by his false claims.
Jordan may gloss-over his problems by saying they are a "normal" part of business growth, however..."intent" is key to fraud. What is his intent?
IF he makes $43,000 in one month why are there unpaid writers and customers with no papers and no refunds? Why does he set out to screw over and cheat customers and and writers out refunds and payments for so many people. Is his business value based on "Dewey Cheat-em and How? The tattoo tells all.
My guess is the bee's are swarming around the nest

Piece of shit indeed. But what about an education system with standards so low and heads so far up their asses that they allow for a frothy bucket of puke such as this fellow to succeed? Ballooning class sizes, indifferent educators... The article makes zero mention of the root causes which have created an environment where this type of dickwad can thrive.
Also, can anyone look at this guy's picture and not want to hurl cow pies at his face? ugh.
