In early May of this year, Brandon Levy, a tech director at Bedlam, noticed some small cracks in the space's performance lounge. Upon further investigation, a disastrous plumbing leak was discovered. Though the destruction was contained to one room in the building, the damage was devastating. What remains is a large hole in the middle of the room. In order to replace the floor, the theater must raise funds. Popular dance night Bomp!, a monthly event at Bedlam, will be hosting a very special party at Hell's Kitchen in hopes of raising more money to fix the room. This unpretentious benefit will feature resident DJs from Bedlam, including Wes Winship, Shannon Blowtorch, Jonathan Ackerman, the Get Cryphy spinners, and Mike the 2600 King.
