Wings and Teeth: The Art of Doomtree
This will be the premiere show for CO Exhibitions, formerly First Amendment Gallery. Last month the group took on a new name and a new mission, and moved upstairs to larger digs. Their first exhibition, "Wings and Teeth," promises to be big, too. It will feature a retrospective of local hip-hop collective Doomtree's art, from CD covers to gig posters to performance photography to videos, as well as new original artwork. Guests can also check out never-before-seen pieces and fan art. At the opening reception from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, June 26, all members of the group will give live performances.
