Gastro Non Grata: Vagabond Vacation

Gastro Non Grata's biggest event yet takes over First Avenue from end to end and stocks it with nearly every reason to leave the house (music, DJs, food, and beer). For Vagabond Vacation, they've streamlined consumption, with the entry fee covering six tickets that are good for beer and food samples. The lineup of chefs includes Spoon River's Heather Hartman making bahn mi, Erik Anderson of Sea Change preparing the vaguely defined "water animal," and the Modern Cafe's Jim Grell and Craftsman's Mike Philips grinding and casing hot dogs. Stages and dance floors will be fully utilized with a slew of acts, including Private Dancer and Birthday Suits in the mainroom, Fuck Knights in the Entry, and soul DJs Hotpants fittingly spinning vinyl in the Record Room. All this, and we haven't even mentioned Cake Eater Bakery (cupcakes); Coastal Seafood (oysters); and Furthermore, Lagunitas, and Bell's (beer, beer, and beer). They don't specify, but loose-fitting pants might be the way to go. 18+.
