For most people, sitting in traffic is torturously boring. But if you find yourself stuck in a jam on Snelling Avenue this weekend, at least the view from your car will be entertaining. That's when the State Fairgrounds will invite over 12,000 owners of custom, restored, street rods, and classic cars from 1964 and earlier to show off their flashy rims, sparkling paint jobs, and unique body designs. They'll be cruising around the neighborhood in addition to parking their wheels in the State Fair lot. At the event, car fanatics will be able to check out vehicles and talk with owners, pick up something needed at the swap meet, and be entertained by live music from Power Play and the Shack Shakers. There will also be kid-friendly activities and a craft fair. For more info visit www.msra.com or call 651.641.1992.
