The home of Henry Hastings Sibley, Minnesota's first state governor, is actually more than 100 years old. The anniversary marks a shift in 1910 when the Daughters of the American Revolution deemed the home historic enough to be preserved. To celebrate, there will be tours, costumed lecturers, and lots of Minnesota history. During the day visitors will also be able to check out vintage cars from the 20th century, play old-fashioned games, snack on birthday cake, and, hopefully, enjoy a sunny day.
