As if the throwback fashions that line the racks of every modern department store aren't enough, the Minnesota History Center is celebrating all that is retro glam at their annual RetroRama event. Check out the night's fashion show featuring styles from bygone times, from the roaring '20s to the swing era and beyond. Hosted by MN Fashion and DJ'd by Jake Rudh, this party is always a spectacle of styles, many of which are making a comeback in today's fashion world. Following the show you can peruse the chic looks of yesteryear at the event's vintage boutique. If fashion isn't your thing, visit the karaoke lounge and belt out some of your favorite oldies tunes, sit in on a demonstration by chef Dan Ritter on mid-century meals, or gather tips on classic cocktails from Psycho Suzi's bartender Ryan Eklund. Whether it's a Capone-inspired suit with a diamond-studded watch or one of Dior's glamorous strapless tops and full skirts, be sure to keep two words in mind when selecting your ensemble for RetroRama: haute couture.
