Art ReMix is a new M.I.A. gallery project that's a little like a makeover show: The museum hopes to shake up its permanent collection by contextualizing pieces in new and thought-provoking ways. Tonight's Third Thursday will celebrate the opening of "Until Now: Collecting the New (1960-2010)" with a modern celebration of contemporary art. So dress in your best gallery-hopping finery and check out the old collection with a new eye. Rocker Mark Mallman and experimental sound group Beatrix*JAR will provide the soundtrack for the evening, and guests can schmooze, talk art, and sip drinks from the cash bar.
