Punk is Not Dead

Whether or not punk is really dead is a question best left to passionate debate between music heads. We admit it is looking grim for the genre; most of the subjects in this art show are no longer living, after all. But perhaps punk endures simply by us remembering it. That is exactly what we plan to do at this benefit party and art show. Brit transplants Louisa Greenstock and Gábor Tar will exhibit punk rock portraits. Guests can order pieces from Gallery 13, with a portion of the proceeds support the American Refugee Committee. Throughout the evening DJ Jake Rudh will spin tunes from post-punkers and pioneers of the first wave. Also be sure to pause for a moment to check out the rare video footage projected on walls.
